Rules for online booking

1. General information

New technology makes it easy and convenient to buy an air ticket on the website. You can book and pay for your air ticket online by bank card or e-money 24/7 without going to a sales office, which helps you

  • save time;
  • choose a suitable flight/fare yourself;
  • avoid service fees charged by an air ticket sales agency;
  • receive an itinerary receipt by email at the address provided when booking;
  • buy tickets for yourself, your relatives, and friends;
  • check in for a flight online;
  • apply for an air ticket refund without visiting an air ticket sales office.

It takes 10 minutes to book and pay for tickets. This is usually enough time to fill out all the required fields and enter the necessary information.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Only persons over 18 years of age may book and pay for tickets through the Aurora Airlines website.

To create a booking and pay for a flight, we recommend that you have available:

  • The passport details of the passengers
  • Email addresses and contact phone numbers
  • Bank card details to pay for air carriage

Buying air tickets involves four steps:

  • Search for flight options
  • Enter passenger details
  • Select travel extras
  • Pay for the order

At each stage, the entered details are automatically checked to ensure they are correct.

For your convenience, we offer several additional options that will make buying tickets easier, namely:

  • Reprint itinerary receipts and insurance certificates.
  • Register in the online store and gain access to your personal account. In your personal account, you can view your orders and save your details, as well as the details of other passengers, so that they can be used to automatically fill in the fields of ticket buying forms.

2. Online booking

You can pay for a created booking by VISA, MASTERCARD, or YANDEXMONEY bank cards, or you can create a pre-booking with payment in cash at an Aurora Airlines office.

To book / pay for air tickets on the website, you must

  • specify the flight itinerary, departure date, and number of passengers;
  • select flights and ticket price;
  • enter passenger details;
  • enter contact details;
  • select a means of payment, enter bank card details, and pay for your order.

IMPORTANT NOTE

  • If the flight you are interested in departs in less than 24 hours, then you can only book it on the website with payment by bank card.
  • The automated ticket booking system allows users to pay for air tickets by bank card up to one hour after the beginning of booking.
  • The time by which you must pay for the order will be displayed at the last step of your booking, as well as in your booking confirmation email.

After completing the booking process, please check your email inbox that you specified when creating the order. Information letters regarding the created order and order payment, with itinerary receipts for all tickets paid attached, will be sent to this email address.

3. Finding order

You can find a created booking (order), exchange a ticket, apply for a ticket refund, and print out an itinerary receipt using the FIND ORDER service.

4. Confirmation of e-ticket expenses

Pursuant to Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation No. 117 dated May 18, 2010, an itinerary receipt for an electronic passenger ticket is a strict accounting document used by companies and individual entrepreneurs for the purpose of cash, non-cash, and/or bank card settlements without the use of POS equipment.

Pursuant to the Letter of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation No. 03-03-07/1 dated February 1, 2011, the following documents are required to confirm e-ticket expenses:

  • An e-ticket itinerary receipt
  • An original boarding pass
  • If you do not have an itinerary receipt but need it for reporting purposes, you can get one here

IMPORTANT NOTE
Lost boarding passes will not be reissued. For any questions about ticket confirmation, please call us on 8-800-250-49-88 or send an email to contact-center@flyaurora.ru.

5. Exchange of an air ticket issued through the website

  • To exchange an air ticket, call our Contact Center on 8-800-250-49-88.

6. Refund of an air ticket issued through the website

  • If you have a personal account on the Aurora Airlines website, then log in to your personal account with your username and password and specify the period of the order you are searching for.
  • If you do not have a personal account, then choose the FIND ORDER section from the AIR TICKET menu.
  • Enter the order number and the passenger’s last name in the corresponding fields.
  • Choose the order to be refunded and click “Ticket refund.”
  • Choose the passenger for the refund and click “Next.”
  • Read the refund terms and conditions in the refund confirmation window. If you agree with the terms and conditions, click “Confirm refund.”

IMPORTANT NOTE
The amount to be refunded will be calculated based on the terms and conditions of the fare at which your air ticket was bought. You can read the terms and conditions of the fare when selecting the ticket cost during booking.

After you confirm your intention to apply for a refund, the system will automatically cancel your seat bookings for all the unused parts of your itinerary. This action is not retroactive.

The refund will be made to your bank card within the period set by the bank, 3–30 days after completion of the refund procedure. For any questions about created bookings, please call us on 8-800-250-49-88 or send an email to contact-center@flyaurora.ru.

7. Useful information

Please be advised that Russian banks have implemented secure payment technologies for online purchases.

Unlike for the standard online payment procedure, a confirmation request will be sent to you. To confirm your transaction, you will need to enter a one-time password that you will receive by SMS sent to the mobile phone number linked to your Mobile Bank, or if you are using a Sberbank card, you can get a list of one-time passwords from any Sberbank ATM. Each password may only be used for one transaction.

In order to protect your bank card from unlawful use, keep your passwords safe from unauthorized access and do not share them with other persons.
