Good preparation is essential

For international flights please, familiarise yourself in good time of the specific immigration regulations of your destination country (required travel documents, customs regulations, currency, health care and other necessary legal formalities).

Ensure that you have all the necessary travel documents with you prior to departure

Detailed information can be obtained from the consulate of your destination country. If you are a Russian citizen, you may refer to the official site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia for further details and recommendations concerning your journey.

Besides this, passengers independently booking air tickets by phone, on Auroras website or other sites, are obliged to observe a correct input of the passport data. Otherwise, they can experience difficulties both during flight check-in and passport control at departure and arrival airports. This duty of passengers is fixed in the Federal Aviation Rules (Order N 82 of Ministry of Transport of June 28, 2007, section II, item 14.) "When booking, passenger gives necessary information on his personal data "

When purchasing air tickets and checking in for flights, it must be understood that passengers whose visa starts on the following day, may be not accepted for carriage. Border and immigration authorities of foreign countries and the Russian Federation reckon passenger's arrival in the country from the moment of landing of the aircraft at airport of destination.

Information for passengers travelling to Russia

Most foreign nationals require a visa to travel to Russia. Visa is not required to citizens of most Latin American countries, the former CIS and some other countries, diplomatic and service passports holders of many countries. Visa requirements of Russia can be found on the website of Embassy of the Russian Federation in your country or on the Russian Foreign Ministry website: www.mid.ru

The following requirements are mandatory for all visa passengers:

  • Visa passengers travelling to and from Minsk (Belarus) in transit through Sheremetyevo (Moscow) need Russian transit visa. When travelling Moscow-Minsk-Moscow, the double transit visa is required.
  • Flights from Moscow to Simferopol are Russian domestic flights. Visa passengers need Russian visa to travel to Simferopol.
  • Double transit through the Russian Federation without Russian visa is not allowed.
  • Valid Russian visas in invalid passports are not accepted.

Information for passengers travelling to Korea

Effective from 1st JAN 2014 Russian and Korean Government have executed the Agreement about cancellation of visas for citizens travelling with touristic purpose.

The following requirements are mandatory for all visa passengers:

  • foreign passport valid at the date of entry to Korea;
  • return ticket or ticket to travel to third country with permission of entry;
  • any confirmation of cash available on tourists bank account in one of Korean banks;
  • any confirmation of accommodation /hotel booked for the period of stay in Korea;
  • migration card to be issued immediately before passport control or in flight.

For study, work, long-term business trip or other non-touristic purpose it is required to obtain in advance a visa in Korean embassy located in Russia.

The documents will be required for check-in for flight at departure airport and at passport control at arrival airport of Korea.

Information for passengers travelling to China

The following requirements are mandatory for all visa passengers:

  • foreign passport valid at the date of entry to China;
  • return ticket or ticket to travel to third country with permission of entry;
  • any confirmation of cash available with a tourist or on tourists bank account in one of Chinese banks;
  • migration card to be issued immediately before passport control or in flight.

Russian citizens are allowed to entry China without a visa as a member of touristic group of appropriate tourist agency licensed to provide international touristic service.

The documents will be required for check-in for flight at departure airport and at passport control at arrival airport of China.

Information for passengers travelling to Japan

The following requirements are mandatory for all visa passengers:

  • foreign passport valid at the date of entry to Japan;
  • return ticket or ticket to travel to third country with permission of entry;
  • any confirmation of cash available with a tourist or on tourists bank account in one of Japanese banks;
  • any confirmation of accommodation /hotel booked for the period of stay in Korea;
  • migration card to be issued immediately before passport control or in flight.

The documents will be required for check-in for flight at departure airport and at passport control at arrival airport of Japan.

Aurora follows the official international standards of IATA (TIM IATA).

A passenger must comply with requirements for completing passport, customs, currency, sanitary, quarantine, and other formalities. If the said rules are not complied with, Aurora may at its discretion terminate an air carriage agreement (Paragraph 1.1 Article 107 of the RF Air Code).
